Our Cultural Center

The Cultural Center of Psychology, Philosophy, and Humanities Aztlan is a Civil Association registered with the I.G.J., under No. 748. It was founded by Prof. León Azulay, a philosopher who has been dedicated to teaching for over fifty years. In the face of the crisis and decline of traditional educational institutions, he has developed the innovative Aztlan® Method, which responds to a new and modern educational and cultural paradigm.

What does Aztlan mean?

Aztlan is a Toltec name from ancient mythology, representing the Ideal City of Culture, Light, and Knowledge. With the Aztlan® Method, Prof. Azulay has created a teaching method that combines and integrates the most advanced holistic psychology systems of our time: the Psychology of the Collective Unconscious by Carl Gustav Jung and the Fourth Way by Gurdjieff and Ouspensky. Additionally, it incorporates teachings from Buddhism and philosophy from both the East and the West. For over 30 years, he has been professionally dedicated to astrological research, being one of the pioneers of Humanistic Astrology in Argentina. The Cultural Center also includes Professors Nicolás Nardi and Prof. Florencia Santoni, among other professionals.

Objectives

The goals aim at fostering the development and well-being of individuals and groups or communities simultaneously. The training includes both theoretical aspects and techniques for inner well-being.

Activities

Some of the activities carried out by the Aztlan Cultural Center include a 2-year training program in Holistic Psychology for everyday life, Short Workshops, and Free Lectures on Holistic Psychology, Jung, Fourth Way, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Quantum Physics, aimed at those who wish to broaden their understanding of themselves and the world. The center also organizes film cycles in the Aztlan Film Club, where culturally and historically valuable films, as well as independent or alternative circuit films and unreleased documentaries in Argentina and Latin America, are screened. Additionally, the Aztlan Cultural Center publishes the Aztlan Magazine, a free distribution magazine available in print or digital format.
